The MAV Awards aim to recognize transformative projects and new developments from organizations, whether individual or collaborative, that are linked to advanced materials and their manufacturing processes. This is your chance to share your vision with industry leaders and get the visibility your project deserves.

1. CATEGORIES

The MAV Awards are divided into three categories:

• Innovation: recognition of innovative projects that introduce new technological solutions or products in the field of advanced materials and their manufacturing processes.
• Sustainability: awards to those projects that promote sustainability, with solutions that reduce the environmental impact, improve energy efficiency or integrate the sustainable use of materials.
• Industry 4.0: recognition of projects that integrate technologies such as robotics, immersive technologies, 3D printing, wearables, artificial intelligence or other emerging technologies in manufacturing processes related to advanced materials.

2. PARTICIPANTS

All those companies, startups or institutions that are working on projects related to the categories described will be able to participate in the MAV Awards. Applications can be submitted individually or in collaboration with other companies, technology or research centers.

3. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

The deadline to submit nominations ends on November 12, 2024.

The information required for the submission of candidacies includes:

• Title of the project.
• Project category (Innovation, Sustainability, Industry 4.0).
• Participants and collaborators of the project (including companies and institutions).
• Description of the project with its objectives, methodology and expected results.
• Description of the differential value that makes the project stand out in its category.

4. SELECTION PROCESS

Projects or new developments linked to one of the three categories (Innovation, Sustainability or Industry 4.0) may be presented, within the framework of advanced materials and their manufacturing processes.

Among all the nominations received, a selection of the 25 most distinctive projects will be made, taking into account their impact, originality and added value in their category.

The selected projects will be announced on November 14, 2024 and will be invited to participate in the final phase of the MAV Awards.

5. PUBLIC VOTING AND DELIVERY OF AWARDS

The selected projects will be presented during the MAV DAY 2024, which will take place on November 29, 2024 at the AC Hotel Gavà Mar.

• Each project will have a maximum of 4 minutes for its presentation.
• The use of visual support (presentations, videos, etc.) is recommended, and it is allowed to bring physical samples or other demonstrative elements of the project.

At the end of the presentations, an open vote will be held for the attending public, to select the most interesting projects in each of the three categories: Innovation, Sustainability and Industry 4.0.

The most voted projects in each category will be awarded with a very special trophy, which will symbolize recognition for their contribution to the advanced materials sector.

6. DEADLINE AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Deadline for submitting candidacies: November 12, 2024.
• Announcement of selected projects: November 14, 2024.
